We're thrilled to announce the launch of a new scholarship program that will offer financial assistance to college and high school journalism students in Nevada.
Thanks in part to generous funding from the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the board has reserved enough funding to offer a $1,000 scholarship to one recipient for at least the next three years. The program, created by outgoing President Yesenia Amaro and backed unanimously by the board, aims to help underprivileged students pay for their journalism studies.
The scholarship application has been posted on our website, and we will begin accepting applications immediately.
Please spread the word and encourage students to apply! For details, check out the Scholarship tab at the top of this page.
