NAHJ-Nevada is happy to announce its three interns for summer 2015 in partnership with the Las Vegas Review-Journal:
Thanks to the partnership with the Las Vegas Review-Journal and its Spanish-language sister paper El Tiempo, NAHJ-Nevada is once again pleased to be able to sponsor a 10-week internship program during the summer. This year, NAHJ-Nevada will have two writing interns and one photojournalist intern as part of the program.
NAHJ-Nevada received various applications from across the country this year. The organization also received an international application. All applicants were very qualified, which made the selection process extremely competitive.
NAHJ-Nevada looks forward to welcoming its top three candidates early this summer!
The organization's leadership board also looks forward to having the community's support at its 3rd Annual Photo Auction at 7 p.m. on March 27 at the Hispanic Museum of Nevada. The event helps the organization raise money to pay for a portion of the internship program.
We hope to see you there to show your support for these three aspiring journalists and to help bring diversity into newsrooms across the country!
